At Tuesday’s Board meeting, CHUSD was honored to receive a generous $3,000 grant from the Coalinga Healthcare District to support foster students and students experiencing homelessness. The funding will go toward essential supplies to help ensure these students have the resources they need to succeed in school.
This opportunity was made possible through the dedication and hard work of our three School Social Workers, who identified the need and successfully applied for the grant. Their commitment to supporting some of our most vulnerable students continues to make a meaningful impact across the district.
CHUSD extends its sincere gratitude to the Coalinga Healthcare District for their partnership and investment in our students, as well as to our School Social Workers for their advocacy and care. Together, these efforts help create a stronger, more supportive community for all learners.
