✨ Introducing Faces of CHUSD ✨

Behind every great school is an incredible group of people dedicated to helping our students learn, grow, and succeed.

We're excited to launch Faces of CHUSD, a new series where we'll introduce you to the people who make Coalinga-Huron Unified such a special place. Throughout the year, we'll spotlight the educators, leaders, and staff members who serve our students and community every day.

We're kicking things off by introducing our new principals and assistant principals for the 2026-27 school year. Some are new to CHUSD, while others are stepping into exciting new leadership roles—but each brings passion, experience, and a commitment to putting students first.

Today we're excited to introduce Esther Sanchez, our new Principal at Cheney Kindergarten! 🧡🖤

Mrs. Sanchez has been with the CHUSD family for nearly 25 years. She has spent the last four years as Assistant Principal at Coalinga High School, where she was an invaluable part of the admin team.

Her years of experience, unwavering dedication, and passion for education have prepared her for this next chapter in leadership, and we're excited to see the positive impact she'll make at Cheney.
