A proud #CoalingaHighSchool graduate, Mrs. Seese's journey with CHUSD began as a student teacher at #BishopElementary before she found her home at Sunset Elementary as a full-time classroom teacher. Through her dedication to students, collaborative spirit, and passion for education, she has made a lasting impact on the Sunset community.
For the last three years, Mrs. Seese has been a part of Sunset's leadership team, further preparing her for this exciting next step in educational leadership.
Mrs. Seese is ready to take on this next challenge, and we know she will continue to be an incredible asset to the students, staff, families, and community she has proudly served for years.

We're kicking things off by introducing our new principals and assistant principals for the 2026-27 school year. Some are new to #CHUSD, while others are stepping into exciting new leadership roles—but each brings passion, experience, and a commitment to putting students first.

Mrs. Sanchez has been with the #CHUSD family for nearly 25 years. She has spent the last four years as Assistant Principal at #CoalingaHighSchool, where she was an invaluable part of the admin team.

✅ If you have already completed your student's #DataConfirmation online and your child attends an elementary school, you do not need to attend one of our in-person Registration & Data Confirmation Days.
However, we encourage the following families to attend:
🎓 Coalinga High School students – Pick up your class schedule, purchase PE clothes, buy a yearbook, and take care of other back-to-school items.
🏫 Coalinga Middle School students – Purchase PE clothes, buy a yearbook, and complete other important back-to-school activities.
💻 Need help with online data confirmation? We're here for you! Staff will be available to answer questions and help you complete the process.
📄 Need to turn in documents? If you have updated immunization records, residency documents, or other paperwork for your student's school, you can bring those with you, and we'll make sure they get where they need to go.
We will also have representatives from the #ExpandedLearningProgram and the #CoalingaHuronLibraryDistrict on hand to help with program registration and signing up for library cards!
Our goal is to make getting ready for the 2026-27 school year as easy as possible. We look forward to helping any family that needs assistance! 🧡🖤 #CHUSD #BackToSchool

If your student will be riding the bus during the 2026-27 school year, please submit their Bus Rider Application by Friday, August 7th to help ensure they're ready to ride on the first day of school.

🏠 Proof of address must be uploaded with the application.
Submitting your application by the deadline allows our #CHUSD Transportation Department to finalize routes and helps avoid delays at the start of the school year.
